Stanley Idaho Weather and Salmon River Conditions

May 8, 2008 River Conditions update for Idaho's Salmon River:

River Runners Rejoice..... an abundant snow pack mixed with colder than normal spring temps will guarantee great flows for the Sunbeam Section of the Salmon River all summer long. The long-term forecast is calling for a warm-up next week just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, the unofficial opening day for river rafting in Stanley.
We will continue to watch conditions and update the blog as we approach the beginning of the 08' rafting season. Keep tuned for high water announcements, big water updates and images and up-to-date info about kayak flows on both Little Redfish Creek and the Yankee Fork.
Let the games begin!
Hope to see you on the river.....
